As of now, howse creative media is a one person operation run by myself, Darren Howse. I’m a Truro local, born and raised in Stewiacke, NS. I’ve been a creative all my life, teaching myself computer skills from a very young age. I started my journey with Photoshop at just 10 years old. I’m also a professional musician. I always dreamt of being my own boss. I wanted to find a way to combine all of my skills with photography, videography, graphic design, and music/audio production into one business idea. Well, here we are.

I’m constantly learning, and will continue to learn and hone my skills as this venture goes forward. I noticed a lack of options when it came to this kind of work in the Truro area, and wanted to use my skills to help local businesses with abilities they may not have in their tool box. Big media companies can charge massive amounts of money, I want to be an alternative option that can help local businesses get quality work, for an affordable price.
